I'm not sure that this fits digital media, but it is a digital medium. A staff person had a babysitter who was a student so they had exchanged personal cell phone numbers for contact purposes. The student gave out the staff person's cell phone number to other students who started to harass her. The school I work for now has policies about having student information or student having personal information from staff, however, I can appreciate the fact that as a parent who needs a babysitter, it's difficult to not cross the boundaries. The parents of high school kids who babysit don't want to be the middle man for those phone calls, but as a staff person I can't afford to have my personal number given out. Yes, the staff person no longer used that babysitter, but now she had to contemplate getting a new phone number.
