Early this school year a student filmed a female student performing a sexual act on a male student in a back hallway of the school. The student posted the video and within minutes it was everywhere. The school administration got a phone call from a parent that had seen the video. They investigated, found the source of the video and had it removed. However, removing it from one site does not mean it was removed from any of the other sites that may have obtained it. The young lady was forced to change schools as a result of the video and the student that filmed the act and posted the film was suspended. Students understand that things can go viral very quickly but never stop to think that the same thing can happen to something they post. They also lack the empathy to understand the tremendous impact their actions can have on others.
