I feel that Digital Citizenship is a must teach for our students! We are a 1:1 computer ratio in our grade level. While it is so awesome, we have to prepare kids for the responsibility that goes along with using a computer. I think it is the only way to be proactive with these. In my teaching career I have taken computer privileges away from a handful of kids who don't abide by the safety rules and instruction. I want kids to know that, while it is an everyday expectation that students should use computers, it is also a PRIVILEGE! I want them to become life long learners with the hope that they will be able to use computers throughout it!
