This is such an important and timely topic in today's world of technology. There is an attitude among many people (especially high school age students) that they can say anything they wish without fear of consequences. This is especially true when talking about expression related to technology formats. We've all heard that once something goes out on the Internet or a text, it's out there forever. While unfortunately I believe the issues associated with this will continue fora very long time, it is imperative that education begin at the earliest age possible. Even more important is that education and monitoring occur in the home from parents. Without help and cooperation on the "home front", it will be very difficult to tackle this issue in an effective way.
