DC Intro Norms and responsibilities

Everyone should have the right to access the internet and use their right of freedom of speech. But with that responsibilitiy we need to make sure it doesnt harm other people. Users should be able to post their opinion and not get any fall out from other users just because we don't think the same.

I agree that digital users have the right to free speech on the internet.  People should feel safe to post things without others attacking or harassing.
However, I believe that those posting their opinions should understand that good discourse between people will require some opinions to be challenged.  We as a digital society need to learn how to discuss and even argue/debate with each other respectfully.  We can disagree with opinions without demeaning or vilifying the other person.
