Digital citizenship should be an on-going discussion in the classroom as well as in the home. Many students see the computer and the vastness of information located on the internet as "free" information or they may have a "I can do whatever I want" outlook. To me, digital citizenship is not different than just being a good citizenship. Yes, each individual has rights; but they also have responsibilities. Sometimes the simplest question is the best question: Will my actions/choices harm or limit anyone else's actions or choices? This is the same for the digital world our students live in today.
