A user right I feel should be part of the norm in our digital world is access to various technology. If all 21st century learners had access to technology, they would be given the opportunity for equality of knowledge. 21st century learners who chose to use the technology available would not be "blocked" by disadvantage and have the potential ability to open more doors. Although I think surveillance of technology by the government has it's place and use for our protection from potential harm, I think that user rights must also include specific surveillance regulations; What the government can and can't do. I don't think that corporations, web sites, etc should be able to track or collect information from your computer for their profit. With our digital rights come the responsibility to protect ourself, others, and act in an appropriate manner.
