I agree that rights and freedoms in regard to use of the Internet must be safeguarded, especially in terms of Internet use being made available to everyone in the digital world. In terms of responsibilities, I see my students particularly needing to be educated--and re-educated--about the necessity of protecting their privacy and that of others as well as respecting the intellectual/creative property of others. As educators, we can't teach this too much.
