I spoke with students the other day about social media situations such as a secret being put on social media for the whole world to see. What students need to understand is that it is their reputation that is at stake when they make negative statements about others on social media. Once it is out there it is always out there. It is not a piece of paper you can shred and throw away if you regret writing it. Photos and videos that are negative can cause irreparable damage! I think we all have freedom but there should be limits to the damage we can cause another person or business with accusations that are not true or just are not anyone else's business.
