I think the biggest thing that students/children need to understand as they enter the digital world is that the expectations that they have in the physical world extend into the digital one. They need to understand that just because they are behind a screen and keyboard, that does not give them the right to mistreat others. Just because someone says something online that they disagree with does not give them the right to attack that person. If they would not do it in their classroom, they should not do it online.
