I believe social media is an effective means of communication, and I have Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. With that being said, there is a certain responsibility to holding myself responsible to what I post and to whom I post things with. Through this class, I went into all of my sites and double checked my settings. Honestly, I had not ever done this since I had signed up for the accounts. As I checked Facebook, I noticed that my account had been logged into in another state! Consequently, I became very concerned about the privacy settings. I reset the passwords for my accounts and reset the privacy settings. I'm thankful I was given this opportunity to make the changes to my social media accounts!
