I went back and looked through my Facebook settings. Meta seems to find some sort of pleasure in continually moving around there safety and privacy settings, so it is something I do regularly. As I do very little with social media anymore, except for 'lurk', I have my account clamped down. I think the biggest thing that users should be aware of is the use of restricted lists and how to use those in conjunction with public posts, post only to friends, and post only to friends that are not on restricted lists. I also noticed that there are some new ways to list and categorize people based on the level of familiarity. I did not dig much into these as they are not really relevant to my usage case.
