Digital Citizenship Internet Safety

Valerie VanHolland
I chose to look at Instagram. I think that most people are aware that you can choose to have a private or a public account, but I'm honestly not sure if I had ever looked at the other privacy settings. I didn't realize that you can restrict who can comment on your photos, and you can even specify a group (eg "close friends") to share something with, without allowing the rest of your followers to see it. There are also privacy settings that can be adjusted whether or not you want other people to be able to see your activity status.
