I think there needs to be greater protections put in place on all social media platforms. I do have a Facebook account, but I keep it private. I do not share picutures and have only posted comments a few times. I know people who have been scammed by information that was shared on Facebook about family members and locations. All users of social media need to know how to keep personal information safe. I am sure there are safety rules I have broken that I am not even aware of. People are quick to use social media, but they are using it without learning the dangers. I think this is because it seemed to become such a big part of everyday life so quickly and everyone has easy access. It is also very easy to be anonymous or pretend to be someone you are not.
