While completing this assignment, I checked my Facebook page to ensure that my settings were all set to private. This is something I do several times a year to make sure my posts are kept safe. I also do not friend people I do not personally know. In the past when our daughter was living with us, we would sit down and go over her friends list and how she knows the person on her Facebook page as well as her cell phone. Our daughter and I have also taught my husband who just got Facebook a year ago that keeping his posts and his Facebook page private are important as well.
