I chose to explore Facebook as I have the most experience with it. Users should be aware of the following settings:

Who can follow you

Who can comment on your public posts

Who can see people you follow and friends

Profile information

Who can post to your profile

Who can tag you in posts

When you don't check out your settings very often, you forget what all people can see.  I recently deleted my phone number.
