I am fortunate enough to be in a school district that has been focused on the use of technology for our students. We are a one to one school. Even though we have a high percentage of our students that do not have technology access at home, students are able to learn using the internet and their computers at school. This is especially import to give all students the same opportunities regardless of their families hardships. Since I work in a middle school, educating our students about the importance of using technology appropriately is very important. Just as it is important to show respect to others in our daily lives, it is just as important to do the same using technology. Ultimately, we want to keep our students safe both physically and online.
