As a Special Education teacher I find it extremely important that the students understand the rights and responsibilities that they have using the internet. Many of them like to watch YouTube or post things to their social media sites that may not be appropriate. I have had to have a talk at their level about how dangerous trusting someone on the other end of the post can be. They may have someone follow them or like a post but what are their true intentions? It is hard to have sites blocked especially when some can figure out the ways around the blocks. I tell them to make sure that when they post something or talk to someone on the internet post with caution, because the repercussions may not be what they want in their lives.
