Digital Citizenship has only been around literally for just a few years. The need to have parameters has grown out of frustrations, fears and privacy. As the technology coordinator for my district, it was my responsibility to look at new applicants digital footprint. I've seen many to fail to understand the fact that their footprint is generally indestructible. There's always a way. I realize that their "young minds" might not be up to the capabilities to understand their responsibilities...until sometimes it's too late.
