Digital Etiquette Complexity

Luke Ames
There should be a standard of some sort when it comes to electronic communication of various types, but that standard is not overall realistic due to complications of culture and audiences (classroom, school, adult, business etc...).  It must be a similar issue to what was faced many years ago as accepted formats for form letters were developed and appropriate greetings and salutations set and taught, but with the world so very small due to technological connection that you can't just consider an adult audience or a business audience, but need to also take into account where they are from, their culture etc....  These standards can be set to a certain extent, but a flexibility of the recipient is necessary to a degree never before required to the average person corresponding in written format for so many years.
