Being of a different political persuasion than a friend on Facebook, I jumped into a conversation she was having with another person who shared her same strong political conviction. I basically attacked their party with some not so kind words. The person with whom she was specking attacked my party in return. My friend expreesed that she did not want to start a big debate on the issue, but had merely stated her opinion. I felt very bad because I did not want to offend this friend. I jumped into a conversation in which I should not have. I should have just stayed out of their conversation. I did apologize to my friend for doing this.
