Digital Etiquette

LB
I think a lot children, and me included, don't understand how a history of what they do and say on social media just doesn't disappear when they delete it.  By the time they decide they shouldn't have sent it to a friend, that friend has already reposted it or shared it with someone else.

We use an acronym in our district to remind students what to THINK about when they are online:

"THINK"
T:  Is it TRUE
H:  Is it HELPFUL
I:  Is it INSPIRING
N:  Is it NECESSARY
K:  Is it KIND
