I created a Snapchat for students to follow for our high school team.  I shouldn't have done this until I had more experience with the Snapchat system and had a complete understanding of it.  Within a few days I was receiving Snapchats from students in our school.  I went straight to Administration about the issue and then figured out a simple fix to the problem.  Lesson learned before you use social media to promote your team and program to have a full understanding of how each platform works.  

Great example.  I am in awe of the younger generation administration that are able to confidently and safely use social media to connect with the community.  I am hoping to learn more about social media so that I can use it more effectively.
