I can think of many examples in which digital media was not used appropriately. People use digital media to express emotion through blasting out tweets, posts and emails. They do not always give the emotions enough time to process through appropriate thought channels. Once the person hits the send button, it cannot be reversed. We see this happen in the news all the time. These emotion charged posts are often followed by retractions and apologies.
