I do have a Twitter account that I use for my basketball program. Until I started to look through the settings, I didn't realize that people can locate others by phone number. This is one the first things I plan to bring up with my students during the safety discussion. To me this is an obvious setting that should not be checked. I also had a talk with my own kids about making sure this box was unchecked on their accounts.
