Teaching students digital responsibility is very important in our schools. This area has taken a lot of parents and educators by surprise and we are quickly trying to teach them the importance of acting responsible when it comes to expressing their ideas and thoughts through cyber space. Many students and quite a few adults don't understand the consequences of posting their every moment, photos, and thoughts on social media. They need to understand what the outcome of this may be down the road. As educators we can communicate these things through digital citizenship.
