"Share a time when you or someone you know was the recipient of inappropriate use of digital media or when you might have used digital media in an inappropriate manner. How did this make you or others feel? What might have been done differently?"

I am colleagues with an individual who unbeknownst to them angered a para-professional in their building.  The para-professional (a parent and youth minister) took to the internet to smear this person with falsehoods they concocted.  When my colleague learned of this nonsense they not only confronted the individual but went to our superiors.  

This is/was a lesson in the fragility of the internet and if left unchecked those who wish to smear others are allowed to do so.  How did this make everyone feel?  The digital media liar was held to account and proper action was taken.
