My new learning was the color wheel. What help to remember as many colors as someone can. I am a very old school and that in Africa, we had to memorize primary, secondary and tertiary but analogous was very new to me. Another new thing to me I never knew that the choice of colors and shapes can mean something.
The name of the colors were a review even though that I learned them initially in French.
I am a french teacher. I will use the concept of warm and cold colors to express themselves(language code). I will use it when we will learn colors and that will be very soon.
