Etiquette

Theresa Christensen
Sharing texts, pictures, etc. meant for your eyes only is an issue I have heard about. Young people send pictures using Instagram or other similar apps. thinking only the recipient of the picture will see it, but the recipient could easily take a quick screen shot of the picture to share with others.

I have been guilty of looking at a text message when talking to someone. At our house, we always had a rule about no tv during dinner. Now we have included all electronics. I cannot count how many times I have witnessed families out for dinner all on their individual electronic device ignoring each other. I have also witnessed parents/caretakers plugged in at parks with young children; totally oblivious to what is going on in the world around them.
