Here is a message that was posted by a parent:
"Not trying to start an argument here but would like my teacher friends input. Keep in mind Camden has always been an A/B student. He's a good, honest kid which I think is evident from receiving the Citizenship Award for his class 2 years in a row. I know Camden isn't perfect and sometimes forgets to turn in assignment or doesn't put forth 100% effort. So my question.... If your child comes home with a D on their report card and also tells you how the teacher just told the class that the average average grade that quarter for all students (almost 100 kids) was 66% or a D average would you think maybe there is something lacking in the teaching? Not trying to put you on the spot but just wondering if any of you teachers would feel like you're failing your students if the average for the entire grade was a D. What are your thoughts."
There were 31 responses to this post - NONE of them teachers. What good did this do. Go see the teacher first, then the principal if you don't like the response. Things like this just turn everyone off and it is being said with only one side of the story being told. Bad deal for everyone.
