I have an account on Facebook (messenger usage only) and Instagram (no posting any photo or message, following a designated person). However, I don't understand the people who post their personal information and many pictures on various types of SNS. I know some of them set high access restrictions, but most of them are very open.
I always wonder if they don't feel it's risky and how dangerous. So, when I teach and advise students about using SNS, I tell them how "predators" can find out you are more effortless than they think, and they can pretend to be whoever YOU want to be.
