I have used Twitter in my Family and Consumer Science classrooms for a number of years. I often use it to promote classes and our program. It is an excellent tool to connect with other FCS and ProStart teachers.

I like to follow @IowaRestaurant which is the Iowa Restaurant association who sponsors the ProStart courses.
@klrobersonpHd is a great resource for all things FCS, a huge promoter of the programs across the country
@IowaFCCLA is the Iowa chapter for the national organization
@ProStart is great to follow! They retweet and favorite many other ProStart teachers posts which is a great way to network, collaborate, and gain lesson/lab ideas from other ProsTart teachers across the country.
