Facebook Settings

On my facebook settings, I have posts just to my specific friends, but my other settings (such as friends list or friend request are open to the public.
I have tried to remove my facebook account, but it truly never disappears.  They should have a destruction setting.

It is true then. Once you put it out there, you can truly never get it back or erase it. My Mom tried having her brother's Facebook account closed and deleted after he passed away.  They did respond back to say it was taken care of.  Yet, someone hacked into his account and used it.  It seems all Social Media platforms have ways to protect you while you are on it. Not very successful when you want to have your account deleted.  

Agreed! Destruction setting would be great. Nothing posted ever goes away.
