Facebook privacy

I have a Facebook account.  I recently learned that some of my photos were set to public sharing while others were not.  It was so confusing because I thought that all of my photos were hidden from public view.  It took about an hour and a lot of trial and error, but I finally figured out a way to get all of my photos to be private.  It was far more difficult than I thought that it should have been.  I had to go through multiple links to figure out which photos where not hidden, then I had to go through a bunch of other links to set them all to "limited" status. Now everything is only what my friends see, but I'm going to have to keep checking every time Facebook changes settings because they might become visible again somehow.
