Facebook/social media privacy and data settings

Ryan Osbourne
I looked into Facebook settings.  Users need to be aware of the abilities to privatize your page on some level through making it hard to find your page through searches on outside engines (such as Google), by using the two-factor authorization to make hacking more difficult, and by limiting interaction to "friends" and clear collected data.  You also should be aware of the ability to prevent certain Facebook-associated apps from collecting and using data.  All of these things are addressed in settings.  Furthermore, I am aware of an extension (Facebook Container) that prevents Facebook from tracking outside website visits.  These various efforts can help safeguard against unwanted privacy intrusions.
