Since I opened my Facebook account more than ten years ago, I don't check my settings after I select them, and I probably have just opted for the top or what looks like the less or least complicated options when Facebook has given me a menu of options. The only other social networking site I use is LinkedIn (I have a Twitter account but never use it). In addition to having a personal Facebook account, I am the administrator of the Facebook page of a local museum where I volunteer in the library and give tours in the summer. I checked the settings there. I see that Facebook keeps a record of everything I have posted or shared. The question, especially lately, is who else can see this information? I can see how such a trove of data from personal accounts would be a marketer's or propagandist's dream.
