Facebook

I signed up for Facebook for this assignment.  My children have facebook and I swore I would NEVER get it. It was confusing.  I went to settings to make sure only friends could see it.  Right away after signing up I was given the option of adding people I might know.  That to me was scary and overwhelming because I have never seen some of those people before.  I'm a grown adult and nervous about privacy issues.  I would stress to my students that when you are on a social media site that anyone can look you up and get any information they want, especially if you get tagged in a picture your friend or family took.  Nothing is private.
