I don't have or use social media.  I found on my wife’s facebook that there is a family center where you can monitor teenager’s accounts.  I am able to see who they are connected with and also see how much time they are spending online.  I found a Privacy Center that will run a safety check to see how safe my account is.  Although there are many risks associated with using social media, I learned that social media applications may have safety features built into their platforms that would help children and students keep their private information hidden.
