Family and Consumer Science

I have taught several courses in which Financial Literacy is a great addition to the curriculum.  Next term, I will be teaching two courses in which I would like to incorporate this subject.  The first is Family Living.  It could be tied into buying a house, the costs of raising a child, the cost of a wedding, or any stage of the family life cycle.  In Single Survival, it would fit nicely with creating a budget, costs of college, or apartment shopping/dorm room expenses.  I am hoping to locate and create some neat lessons and activities for some of these topics.  Guest speakers from our local bank and other businesses could potentially be added to the mentioned topics.
