Finance in the Classroom

Tina Phillippi
I teach 7th and 8th grade language arts and when it comes to financial literacy many would say that is the job of the math teachers. It is very crucial that we all take a part in helping our students understand the importance of financial literacy. Just like reading, it should be something we do in every classroom. I am finding lots of ideas on the website Finance in the Classroom!! <http://financeintheclassroom.org/passport/seventh/lang_art.shtml#checking>

There might be no bigger link endorsement in watches than the partnership between link Omega and the James Bond franchise, and for the latest Bond watch, Omega really knocked it out of the park. From the titanium case and titanium mesh bracelet to the military-embellished dial to the engravings on the caseback, this one is a winner through and through.Check out link the full story here.

While smartwatches are causing trouble at the link low end of the traditional watch market, NPD sees no link evidence that they are hurting the luxury-watch market. NPD data, as HODINKEE reported last week, indicates that watches with suggested retail prices of $3,000 or more were link very strong in the first six months of this year, as well as for the full-year last year.

Financial literacy is an essential skill for every student, and as a language arts teacher, I completely agree that it should be integrated into all subjects. Using creative resources like stories, games, and lessons can make learning about money engaging. While exploring tools for my classroom, I also came across Free download 3 Card Heroes click here, which adds a fun way to teach critical thinking and decision-making.

Quite link a bit bigger from the original and for many link a step in the right direction, since not only link the watch case was larger, also the bracelet became wider and gave a bolder look, especially on the inside of the wrist.
