Financial Literacy as a Substitute Teacher

Pamela Oviatt
I have used "money" as a means to discuss simple math concepts.  One dollar can be described in terms of pennies, nickles, dimes and quarters OR ones, fives, tens and twenty-five totaling 100.  I've also discussed the importance of learning math now and how it will be useful in their financial futures.

Dealing with flowers and plants, a medium that doesn't last forever, is something link that link I find really interesting. I have a conversation with them. Sometimes they respond predictably or unpredictably. That is what I find really interesting. link Creating something incomplete is also part of the artwork.
