Financial Literacy as a sixth grade math teacher

I will be a sixth grade math teacher this year that has also taught eighth grade algebra in the past few years. Whenever I teach, I try to connect the math concept to students everyday lives. This is sometimes difficult when teaching algebra. By taking this class, I hope to find ways to incorporate more real-life math problem solving in the classroom. Tools that ALL kids can use throughout their lives.

This was a useful read and explained the topic in a very easy way. Students often get confused about GPA and grading systems, so having simple resources really helps. I also use Grading Calculator whenever I need to quickly check grades or calculate GPA without wasting time.
