Financial Literacy connected to earnings in our program

I facilitate a behavioral program where the kids earn scores each day. I believe I could take the penny illustration and sub in the earned scores as earnings or income and develop their "bank account" off of this concept. I could see this working with grades as well if it did not become a shaming exercise. Confidentiality on "earnings" would be necessary.
