I am a para and I work primarily with students for reading. I do believe teaching financial literacy is important. We have started a school bank for our elementary students. Each week they can bring money to deposit or withdrawal if needed. A certain portion is matched by the bank. Kids seem to enjoy this idea and it really makes them get a taste of saving.
