This as a business teacher this directly connects to my content area. Next year I will be adding a section of Personal Finance, and the class will start to be required for all students, starting with the Junior Class. There are other classes where this fits in as well such as Entrepreneurship, Careers and Computer Apps for example. In Entrepreneurship we discuss funds for starting a business usually discussing personal savings and loans. In Careers we discuss lifestyles and how much money will be needed to sustain it. In Computer Applications we make spreadsheets that can be used for budgets.
These are just a few examples of how Financial Literacy fits into my content area.
