As a high school science teacher I can think of a couple of ways to integrate financial literacy into my curriculum. 1) The ability to analyze tables and graphs is extremely important within science - I could have students look at tables and graphs to analyze financial data (loan and interest rates, savings, rates of return on investments, etc.). 2) I could have them investigate the claims of certain products through the lens of scientific skepticism (different types of health vs. the cost and health benefit claims, exercise/diet products vs. the cost, benefits, and potential adverse health concerns).
