Yvonne,
My children are grown and I have grandchildren who have gone to the school I teach at. These modules will be a great refresher course for me as I teach my students. The special education teachers like myself are required to present lessons to our students about real world experiences, such as checking books or banking. Some of my students have math disabilities that make it hard for them to balance a checkbook or even keep track of the money they spend.
Yes, for your daughter, college could be an expense that may haunt her for a long time, if she pays for it on her own by taking loans out. Hopefully, she will have a wonderful and successful experience in college.
