Financial Literacy in Resource Room

I teach in our school's resource room and there are many times when students ask about financial issues.  Currently, I am working with a small group of 8th graders in math who are very interested in all things finance.  They hear about topics, but don't understand how they can or will need to apply them to their own lives.  We cannot rely on parents to adequately prepare all children.
