Financial Literacy

I teach vocal music in the Middle and High School levels. I have many opportunities to discuss saving for college and life in general. I assist students who are applying and auditioning for college. The teachers are also assigned a group of students to help and guide them through many different future plans including work, technical school and/or college. We discuss working, saving and applying for loans and scholarships. When producing the fall musical, I share with students the financial limitations and concerns that we must deal with and still produce a quality show.
