Financial Literacy

I teach two full years of high school accounting.  The courses are geared to keeping the books of a business and how to be profitable.  I can think of several chapters where I could infuse personal financial literacy.  For example, when we learn to make a balance for a business, they could also make their own net worth statement.  The chapters that deal with checking accounts, credit cards, and debit cards could be related to individuals and the chapters dealing with stocks and bonds could be personalized as well.
